In the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Northern Vosges, the Donnenbach pond was first created for fish farming before being used for the sawmill and the mill in the 18th century. Today, the site is home to the House of Water and River.

Follow the mountain bike signs with the red 4 circuit.

Access and parking
From Saverne, take the D1004 and then the D122 on the right. In Hammerweyer, take the D178 on the right to La Petite-Pierre. Finally take the D9 towards Petersbach.
